I didnt actually understand most of what you wrote, but by reading what someone else said I got ya.

You want to make event items account wide so everyone can use them?

Purely because their items which one particular character has achieved, won, bought, etc.

It would mean that you could ultimately, 2 years down the line, delete the original character who won it, still keep the item and use it on a new character 2 years later.

To me that just seems wrong. Its like your granny wearing your boxer shorts. *shudders*

Keep it as it is, and only allow those who won the items to use them.

u know, u could keep the items in ur storage, or temporarily on a different characters inventory, delete ur other character, make a new one, but use the same name. as long as the name is the same, i bet u could use those items on that new character again (i never tried it, since i didnt wanna go ahead and spend lots money on armor and skills again :S)

i agree with that argument, nothin wrong with it

but the problem is, that u keep gettin new characters bc u get new professions. i know nobody is forced to get them all, but sum ppl like to do it. and i bet there r therefore also ppl around that like to have all those lil trophies on each of their characters. in the past, it used to be do-able. but the more professions u get, the harder it gets, or near impossible. we have to take this into account as well imo

nm that, it doesnt work. sum guy i know thought the same thing and tried it, doesnt work. he cant equip it, even with the same name... now thats just mean ;P

It should be like that. That way we can have more inventory space because we no longer need to have the hats with us unless we are going to wear it, and we can have it on our newer characters.

I would really like something like this, enspecially because of the recent Halloween event. I've been trying to get a hat for every one of my chars ever since I started playing, but because the mad king only came 9 times, and I have 10 chars, one for every profession (that means twenty hats needed, which means I'd need at least 20 mad king visits), I wasn't able to get all of them.

Nonetheless, this si a great idea; even much better than my idea. This is something that could be done even easier than my idea, seeing as they already have the same thing for pre order items.

But I was also tink that this could be irritating at times with 6 special event items(evenmore with future events) kind of flooding your inventory.
So why not, /christmas05-06 /halloween05-06 /dragonfest06? or something like that...I am, however, still overjoyed with the thought of being able to have any of the hats in my inventory without needing to keep them there
